1. Metropolitan Area 
PCTV (Phillips Community Television)
Phillips Community Television, otherwise know as PCTV, is a non-profit organization that empowers youth to engage with their communities through learning, teaching and making media. Since 1993, PCTV has enabled thousands of inner-city youth, ages 9-18 to create their own television programs, magazines, photography exhibits, web pages, and personal projects focusing on youth, family, and community issues.

Old Arizona
The Arizona Bridge Project, Old Arizona's youth program that serves inner city, teen-age girls who have an interest in the performing, media, and visual arts, and Chicas in the Mix, a 'zine created by girls for girls "who want to keep it real", are successful means by which young women learn to make positive life choices.

La Escuelita
La Escuelita is a youth development
agency empowering Latino youth ages 12-18 through after-school tutoring,
leadership, and service-learning experiences. The mission is to
develop and implement youth development strategies that increase
Latino youth academic success in Minneapolis.

Dodge Nature Center
During the school year, Dodge Nature Center offers several afterschool programs designed to get K-8th graders excited about nature, science and land restoration. Children will experience hands-on fun and learning as they explore the natural world around them.

Minneapolis Beacons Project
Minneapolis Beacons Project is a collaborative, community-based
initiative among schools, community, and families to improve academic,
social, and lifework development of youth in low-income communities.
Beacons builds on the resources and infrastructures that already
exist within a community and gives each student an experience that
builds self esteem and supports academic achievement. The project
leverages the strengths and resources of its collaborative partners,
which include the YMCA of Metropolitan Minneapolis, YWCA of Minneapolis,
the Boys & Girls Club of the Twin Cities, Minneapolis Public
Schools Community Education, and the Minneapolis Youth Coordinating
Board. Year-round programs are provided free of charge to youth
and their families.
Minnesota Community Education Association
Minnesota Community Education Association
represents over 1,300 community educators and provides leadership
in the creation of communities in which citizen involvement and
lifelong learning are essential. Youth services include youth development
and youth service, enrichment, summer programs, childcare, prevention
and intervention programs, and recreation.

Minnesota Recreation and Parks Association
Minnesota Recreation and Parks Association is a statewide member
organization representing over 800 recreation and parks professionals.
Its mission is to advance the values and ideals of public recreation,
and provide leadership in communities to ensure quality leisure
services and opportunities for citizens of all ages. Recreation
programs for youth include summer programs, after-school recreation,
music, arts and crafts, dance, sports, and enrichment.
Northland Foundation Kids
Plus Program
Northland Foundation Kids
Plus Program has engaged approximately 3,500 young people ages
10-18, and 3,500 adults in the process of identifying the needs
of children and their families in a seven-county area in northeastern
Minnesota. Twenty-six communities have developed 230 programs for
children and youth over the past 11 years, involving over 20,000
young people.

Amherst H. Wilder Foundation
Amherst H. Wilder Foundation is a
nonprofit health and human service organization that has served
the greater St. Paul area since 1906. Community Youth Development
(CYD), a unit of work in the foundation, includes programs that
focus on developing children and youth, building the capacity of
community organizations and young leaders, promoting community involvement,
and building communities that support children and families.

YMCA of Metropolitan Minneapolis
Youth Express provides youth with opportunities to develop the
knowledge, skills, and personal integrity necessary for success
as young adults and for an active role in the St. Paul communities
where they live. Programming is available to youth ages 7 to 18
and happens after-school, during school holiday/breaks, and during
summer hours. Activities are designed to improve academic achievement,
nurture social and emotional growth, promote multicultural respect
and understanding, and build youth leadership skills.

nonprofit, service organization committed to improving the quality
of life of the people in its community. A mission-driven organization,

4. Red Wing 
Kids Junction, Community Education
Kids Junction provides care for school age children whose parents are unable to be home with them during non-school hours. The program offers a friendly, informal atmosphere with activities planned to keep the children busy and creative. Children are given choices to participate in a variety of group and individual activities such as arts, crafts, games, physical activities, computers, field trips, and quiet time.
